Review content:
I read the previous review of Tokyo Steak House and I guess I have a very different take. Yes, the atmosphere is dated and you do smell like the grease from the tables when you leave but that's just the start of the charm of the place. If you go enough to find a chef you prefer, request him. We love Philip and Mario but all are great. I prefer the food here to the chains. You get so much! Mushroom based soup, salad with ginger dressing, vegetables, noodles and fried rice all accompany the main entree meat or seafood of your meal. At other Japanese style steak houses things like fried rice are extra and you have to choose between soup or salad. The combinations are great and come with up to 3 proteins of your choice (again, better than any chain restaurant I've been to).
