Businiess name:  Diego's Cantina Mexican Kitchen & Tequila Bar

Review content:
I happened to go with a co-worker since we were desiring to eat ""Mexican"" (which Houston consists mostly of Tex-Mex, not authentic Mexican) and my co-worker had heard of Diego's so we decided to skip out on the usual and try somewhere new. Diego's is in a great location, right off of Hwy 6 near 59. It was extremely easy to find ; parking either ground level or open above ground was available. The restaurant area are on both sides of the bar (separates the casual cocktail from the sit-ins) and the entire place over looks Sugar Land (since it's on the 3rd floor, elevators are available and quick). To begin with, the lunch special includes everything you could possibly itemize; drinks, soup and salad, entree and to top it off desert! We met ""Mama"", which is the owner, such a wonderfully talented woman, she personally brings you some of the meal and is extremely friendly. Our waitress, Sarah, was so knowledgeable about the history of the dishes, the recipes...she knows more than me and I'm Mexican ;-) The meals consist of fresh vegetables, fruits, etc. It's like traditional/authentic Mexican (native Mayan) with an exotic flare. Just delicious! You can stuff your face and not feel sick since everything is fresh and cooked with olive oil, not LARD! Just excellent, will definitely take my parents who are Mexican and everyone else I know.
