Review content:
The Dogwood is a fun, upbeat bar in the W 6th District, geared toward young professionals, but attracting the 20-40-something crowd and lots of attractive girls and guys. Half of the bar is outside, surrounding a huge rectangular bar, and the other half is inside. The finish-out is well-done, with great lighting and outdoor fans to keep you cool in the summer. There are TVs within view from virtually every spot in the bar, so it is a good place to watch the game, or to go to after watching a UT football game. It is also a good happy hour spot, or one of the only hopping spots on W 6th on Thursday nights. This bar is trendy, but not snooty, and definitely not a flash in the pan. I highly recommend.
