Businiess name:  Verizon Wireless Amphitheater

Review content:
since moving to san antonio a year ago, we have attended several concerts at this venue. we have enjoyed all the concerts, journey, cheap trick, foreigner, average white band, etc. i was disappointed to hear the amphitheater is up for sale and will defintely not be used as a concert site. although traffic is a problem at the site as is parking, trying to go to the at and t center or the alamodome downtown would be even worse. downtown is bad enough and parking for the alamodome is not much better. the prices for food and beverages at the verizon are still very high-8 to 9 dollars for a beer, 6 bucks for a coke. don't even ask about food prices. however, because it has such a large lawn seating area, we have seen numerous parents with children of all ages attending the concerts because lawn seating allows for reasonably priced tickets of 10-20 dollars per ticket, affordable for families. it would be a great lost for this area if the amphitheater were sold, so i plead for the selma city leaders to fight to keep this concert site./ Pros: lawn seating, reasonably priced tickets, great artists Cons: food and beverages too expensive
