Horrible experience at this salon. My appointment was at 10:00 and I arrived at 9:45. The person at the front desk told me it would be four hours and escorted myself, my husband, and my dogs to the kennel area. I told her that they had never been in a kennel nor been separated before. While my husband was trying to put them in the kennel she shoved his hand. Once in the kennel she said she would call when they were finished. At 1:45 (almost four hours) we arrived to pick up the dogs because we had been shopping in the area. The person at the front desk told us one dog was ready to go and we could take her. The lady who was grooming was standing behind this lady and asked if she could call us when they were ready (in a very rude voice). When my husband asked at what point the other two dogs were at the lady rolled her eyes and walked away. The receptionist said that it should be no later than 2:30 so my husband and I went shopping and waited on the phone call. When we finally called them at 3:45 they said they were ready and we could come pick them up. When we picked them up, they were in separate kennels when I had given instructions to keep them together and they had agreed to. Also, when I called to make the appointment I told the person over the phone that one of my dogs? hair was badly matted. I was told it would be $25 per dog. Upon payment, they requested $95 which I paid because I had already had such a bad experience and just wanted to take my dogs home. On the way home I noticed that I had blood on my pants from the nails bleeding. I typically get my vet tech to clip my dogs? nails and she has rarely made them bleed and if she did she would put something on them to make them stop. I decided at that point not to take them back because they seemed traumatized when I picked them up. When we got home all three dogs tried to drink out of the same bowl which is unusual for them. I had to change the water three times. They had been at the salon for almost six hours and I believe they did not get any water while there. They also pottied a lot more than usual, so I?m sure they didn?t take them out either. Later on in the night I also noticed one of my dogs had a rash between his legs which was not there beforehand.
