Review content:
The atmposphere was dirty, dumpy and foul looking. There was one waitress and one cook working. There were 2 other customers waiting for their order. I ordered the country breakfast for $5.99. It included bacon, sausage, grits. eggs, fried potatoes and a biscuit. (No gravy). The waitress asked me how I wanted my eggs cooked. I replied ""poached-hard"". She said it couldn't be done because the cook didn't know how. I opted for scrambled. When I was served, the meat was fine. The potatoes were soggy and runny. The eggs were soggy, runny and had a strange smell. My water glass had some kind of white hairs stuck to the rim. I told the waitress. She said she didn't see anything. But, got me another glass of water anyway. I finished and left a mediocre tip to the waitress for refilling my coffee. That place is a dump and a half! They will not last much longer. I am sure there are better sould food or southern cooking restaurants that fare better in Long Beach or South LA. Never again!
