Businiess name:  Ted's Butcher Block
Review by:  citysearch c.
Review content:
This locally-owned market offers the feel and service of an old-fashioned butcher shop combined with great prepared foods, sandwiches, salads and more. Try any of the paninis for lunch - they're reasonably priced and oh so delicious! The chef does a great job with a menu of prepared foods that changes monthly. As for the butcher part of the shop - this isn't your typical grocery store meat counter. Everything is all-natural and hand cut or ground to order, so you know exactly what you are getting. Ted is usually the one cutting the meat, and is always happy to talk about his products and answer questions. They even make their own pancetta, Italian sausage, smoked salmon and more! They recently opened a small outpost on the Isle of Palms at the marina, which is great news for beach goers and boaters. Don't miss their Friday $12 dinner specials, wine tastings and monthly craft beer dinners! Pros: Delicious foods, quality meats, locally owned, helpful staff Cons: Need more locations in Charleston!
