Review content:
I really like this yarn shop, for several reasons. They have a good selection, it's packed and cozy, good prices, and their reward program(spend $250 - no time limit - and you get $25) is generous. Once one of the owners sat down to help me with a stitch that was confusing me, and she was wonderful and patient.
What prompted me to write was the review from Citysearch below. I agree that the owners are naturally curt, but they will answer questions and work with you, and have a wry sense of humor.
Both owners also have mentally-challanged daughters - according to their website, they met at a Special Olympics basketball practice. These daughters are usually there, and are employees of the store - I suspect that Cadbury spoke to one of these young ladies(if they were sitting down and doing their own thing), and gave her the idea of rudeness. I'm sure it wasn't meant.
I do recommend this place highly, give it a chance!
Pros: Great selection, owners will sit down and help you, cozy
Cons: Owners can be a bit curt, sometimes unexpectedly closed
