Review content:
Charlie's BBQ is an incredible find. The food was delicious and Charlie, the owner, greets guests as they arrive and introduces himself with typical Southern hospitality. I had ""the Duke"" pulled pork sandwich and my wife had Brunswick stew. Both were exceptional. Charlie's BBQ sauce was a perfect compliment to the pulled pork and the pork itself had a taste of open fire grilling, just as the best cooked meats always should. My wife stew was very tasty but not over-seasoned. Our sides of baked bean and hush puppies were also perfect. The hush puppies had a light quality that allowed the flavor to come through rather than that typical heavy fried taste that turns me off. I finished the meal with a slice of home-made chocolate layer cake that was light and moist. The atmosphere was very friendly and all the guests were enjoying themselves, making it a fun night out in addition to the great food!
