Review content:
Evergreen Commons looks nice but has a history of poor inspections, which has gained it the lowest rating for a nursing home by the state. They have repeatedly hired help that has already mistreated and abused residents in other facilities, perhaps because their pay for aides is lower than that of the facilities near it. Their main day to day problem is a lack of enough staff to give basic care to the residents. This has led to over medication problems since a lack of care can be overcome with chemical restraints. There are some good loving caregivers there but not enough to overcome the poorly run administration and the abusive treatment. Don't take my word for it, look up the ratings and reports and you will see there are many better choices. My experience with a loved one at Evergreen Commons was terrible. I wouldn't recommend sending anyone there.
