Review content:
I have had a lot of trouble finding the PERFECT wedding dress. Anyone who has been married knows that it is all about finding ""the one"", and that is certainly not an easy task. I went to various places to look and still never found something striking yet worth the price. I knew that wedding dresses did not come cheap, so I kept an open yet reasonable mind on my budget. I happened to be in Armory Square this past weekend when I decided to stop into SpyBaby's. I have never been in there before, but I got the feeling of a comfortable and chic Manhattan boutique. Very intimate and very cozy.
I did not have an appointment (on a Saturday afternoon which is certainly a busy time) and there were a few other brides trying on things. I met a great salesgirl who kindly offered to help me look around and find some options. She was never pushy on the sale and kept focused on the things I liked about a dress. She introduced me to a fabulous designer, Maggie Sottero, and showed me a nice selection of dresses that were both original and beautiful. She got me a changing room and helped me with trying on the dresses. When I found the one I loved - not just liked, because it's fabulous - it hit me: this is ""the one"".
The owner of the boutique herself came to look me over in the dress and asked me some great questions to ensure I had the right fit. She was concerned with how I felt about the dress and what I liked about it. I put the down payment down but kept worrying it would not be available for my wedding in April. The owner called me to touch base on my purchase and answer any other questions I had two days later. She also ensured me things would be ready for my wedding. I was very relieved to know that I had found a great dress at a great boutique! I would recommend SpyBaby's to ANYONE looking for an original, fashionable dress! Give it a chance and end up as happy as I am with my experience.
