Review content:
This bakery on the outside may look quaint and little, but don't be fooled because this establishment makes Boston's best challah. They sell it in all sorts of shapes and sizes, some with raisins and some without. I usually purchase the braided challah with no raisins and it is always so delicious! The texture is soft and the inside is cakey and sweet. I've also tried their other pastries and they too are quite delicious. You can't go wrong! In my opinion, the challah is the best thing they offer. If you can't make it all the way to Newton, I know the Shaw's on Commonwealth Ave., on the BU campus sells it as well, but nothing can beat fresh challah straight from this bakery. I'm a fan!
Pros: delicious challah bread and pastries, friendly service
Cons: crowded, line extends out the door sometimes!
