Review content:
Come hear for the music. The sauce that they use kills all the flavor of the meat. Someone decided that using a sweet-pickle based barbecue sauce was a good idea. Big mistake. Personally, I think it taste bad. That's the best I can say. This sauce is used to hide the fact that they cannot consistently cook the meat to the correct temperatures. Another case of wearing to many hats. You cannot be good at cooking everything. Specialize in one dish and work from there. Other than this critical flaw, this place has everything going for it. Fantastic music and atmosphere. Very country, intimate. Great bar setup and front porch. They got everything else right, just don't call yourself a barbecue joint if you're not focused on barbecue. Pros: Fantastic Music, Good Bar, Country Intimate Cons: Horrible BBQ Sauce, Horrible BBQ Sauce, Focus BAD SAUCE!
