Review content:
While there is a shortage of quality restaurants in Downtown Vancouver Tommy Os is one of the better ones when it comes to menu, food quality and ambiance. With that said, Tommys is severely lacking when it comes to service. After dinning here twice and ordering take out once, I experienced extremely long waits every time. Im talking a good 15 minutes before your order is taken, and another 30+ minutes before your food arrives. Each time they were not that busy. Give it a try if youre in the mood for Hawaiian food and you dont mind the wait. Ignore the other reviewers comment about it rivals most Portland restaurants, thats totally absurd. Compared to the better restaurants in Portland Tommys is average at best, the slow service drops it to slightly below average; with the variety of quality restaurants in Portland its hardly worth a drive across the bridge. If you do decide to give a try, best of luck I hope you get better service than I did, youll probably enjoy the food. Sorry, I have no recommendations from the menu. Pros: Good food, good location, good atmosphere Cons: Severely slow service
