Review content:
I really hate giving this place such a bad rating because I love supporting anything local but it was just so horrible that it was probably the worst restaurant food I have ever eaten. First of all, there was ONE thing on the menu that was vegetarian. Usually when I go to noodle houses/chinese places there are loads of veggie options. The one option that I had was an EGG SANDWICH and was disgusting. It consisted of two un-toasted & overly buttered pieces of bread and an over-medium cooked egg. That's it. It came with those ghetto frozen crinkle cut fries that you buy at the store and they tasted like freezer burn. My husband ordered some sort of noodle bowl that was similar to Top Ramen. He also ordered a soda and was given a WARM CAN with no ice. The only thing that looked remotely appetizing was my mom's giant pounded and fried shrimp, which ended up being gross as well. I give them credit for the shrimp because it was probably the only thing that is actually ""prepared"" in their kitchen. I could go on about other things but I won't. The poor quality makes me wonder if they really aren't doing so well and I would be a little sad if they went under because they are an Ogden icon and have been around almost 60 years, i think. I'm glad that I finally tried out this restaurant because of it's history, but I will NEVER eat there again and will not recommend it to anyone else.
