Review content:
My family and I have loved the Newport for many years. But last night was a disaster. The fish & chips (cod) was horrible. They have really cheapened their best dish. Instead of their former steak fries they have gone to skinny limp fries. Instead of the hand breaded portions of fish they have gone to pre packaged frozen fish. I hope some day I can go back to this formerly wonderful place. But for now I'll get my Fish & chips at Red Robin or Spud.
