Tonight's ""date night"" restaurant was Watel's. The complimentary valet parking is great, as I hate trying to find non-tow parking around Greenville Ave. Passing through the enclosed patio, it looked like a great place to hang out and have a meal when the weather is a little cooler. Inside, I was greeted by the owner, and immediately given my choice of place to sit. Since they have a great selection of Belgian beers, I asked them to surprise me. I could not tell you the name of the beer, but it was pretty tasty. We had the salmon roeste app to split, which was a great start. The smoky flavor of the salmon went great with the potatoes. We shared the Mahi mahi entree, which was cooked to perfection and really benefited from the candied lime zest on top and the melon jicama slaw bed. Lastly, the chocolate bread pudding was amazing. I am used to german bread pudding, so the texture of this one was a little different, but the taste was fantastic. The atmosphere is very relaxed, and lends itself very easily to the jazz music in the background. The menu is an eclectic one, with dishes from all over the world. We will definitely be back! Pros: menu, service, atmosphere, parking
