Businiess name:  The Gym Park

Review content:
This is a large, very well lit kids gym with very high ceilings and an airy feel. It is the largest kids gym we have seen in Brooklyn and Queens. The emphasis is really on ""gym,"" i.e. they also have serious equipment that will appeal to kids older than 4 years. The place feels very creative, the music has a nice beat to eat, and the owners are friendly and personable. The emphasis on serious equipment and lots of music instruments like pianos, guitars, etc. indicate that GymPark offers a lot more than your standard playroom. Going to Greenpoint from Williamsburg, Long Island City or Astoria is a short ride on the bus which is a major attraction and adventure for our son. You can really make a nice half day out of riding the bus to Greenpoint, attending a class or the conveniently scheduled mid-morning Open Play at GymPark and taking in everything Greenpoint has to offer: artsy cafes, a great community bookstore, hip shopping.
