Review content:
I have to echo LimeyJohnson. I rented a house from Advantage Asset Management and while the service people were helpful, the company owner was extremely difficult to deal with and definitely full of himself. He made the one year lease experience very difficult for me and my family, and forced us to move sooner than we had planned. We had the air conditioning go out 3 times in 2 months, forcing our 3 kids to all huddle into the master bedroom to sleep by us where it was bearable. This is in the middle of the 100+ degree Houston summer.
The owner felt it was ok to take 2 or 3 days to fix such an issue. The HVAC techs told me the first two times the units were the original units and should be replaced. Advantage kept ""fixing"" it.
For the record, we rented another property shortly after, while waiting to get into the house we purchased, and the management was pleasant and told us to come back at any time. There are plenty of other management companies out here that take care of their tenants.
If you have the option, I recommend you seek another property management company. Advantage Asset Management's owner treats his tenants like second-class citizens.
