My 2000 Ford Excursion stopped running. It needed to be towed. So, since Hannah was closest to me I chose to go there for service. They insisted that I needed to have a complete diagnostic test which was over $200. I reluctantly agreed to this. What a mistake. After that they told me I needed everything from air filter replacement to tires and brakes. I asked the service manager if these things needed to be done in order to get my car back on the road and he insisted upon it. What I thought was going to be under $250 was now a $1200 job. I asked the service manager once again if he was absolutely sure that all of the these repairs needed to be made in order to get my car running. He insisted they all needed to be done. This was Saturday afternoon. They were closed on Sunday. That Sunday I called two mechanic known to be but, out of the area that were familiar with my vehicle. They insisted that based on the symptom is was a very common repair that my particular vehicle needed. They said it should have been under $100 and that I didn't need a full diagnostic test to find that out. I left a message on Sunday with the Hannah service manager and told him to stop all repairs and that I wanted to take my car someplace else. He returned my call early Monday morning and let me know that the repairs had already been completed. This seemed very odd to me since the labor charge was for four (4) hours. The math didn't add up. I told the service manager that the only repair my car needed in order to get running again was to have one sensor replaced. I told him that two other mechanics agreed. He said that he was sorry for miscommunicating the repairs to me but, I still had to pay. It cost me $1158.41 and my car ran when I got it back but, not as well. BEWARE OF HANNAH FORD'S SERVICE DEPARTMENT. They will shake you down and rip you off. There are other private garages you can take you car to that will treat you much more fairly. Pros: Location Cons: The service department will rip you off
