Businiess name:  Alex Sandler's Sewing
Review by:  citysearch c.
Review content:
I have to rave for Mr. Sandler: I went in looking for an inexpensive sewing machine. I like to sew, but it's something I do about once in a blue moon. I was headed straight for the ""Singer"" but once I told him I was a seldom-sewing true novice, he explained to me that another machine was better: and it was a less-expensive model! He suggested a re-built Kenmore rather than a Singer due to the Kenmore being made with all metal parts instead of Singer's plastic. He opened it up and showed me what was obviously a beautifully maintained machine. Every bit shining and oiled and in perfect working order. The price: just $75. That machine has served me very well for over 4 years now, and I think appreciatively of Mr. Sander every time I use it. Pros: Extremely knowledgeable staff Cons: Small, old store. Kind of Old School
