I moved to Glendale a year ago and needed to find a dry cleaners. I stopped by Arapgir today and was told they charge $3.75 per sweater, which I thought was quite reasonable. I had 10 different sweaters and when he started writing them up, he said ""this is a sweater jacket, it'll cost more."" It was thinner and smaller than the others and was a cardigan-not a pullover. There was nothing that warranted a higher price. I worked at a dry cleaners when I was in college and the scam is that they'll find any reason to charge more - buttons, silk, etc., but these items are not handled differently! I know all dry cleaners do this, but I wasn't in the mood for it today. I left without leaving my stuff.
