My boyfriend and I visited this new and definitely notable tapas bar during a recent weekend trip to Chicago. I heard about the restaurant online here at Citysearch and we decided to give it a shot. We visited Zocalo on a Friday night around 9:00 pm. We preferred to sit at the long, sleek bar over the dining room - but either area had available seating - which was rare for Chicago. The service was fantastic - the waiter was knowledgeable and extremely personable. The food was so good we could have ordered everything on the menu! The food and service was so great, we went back again two nights later. I'd definitely recommend this hip new restaurant to anyone looking for something new, a great atmosphere and friendly service! We'll be back.
