Review content:
As a life-long St.Petersburg resident, I have tried just about every restaurant in the area, most of them twice. There are many average casual dining experiences around the area, but take my word for it, Julian's is the best fine dining that St.Pete has to offer. The staff was friendly and more than helpful. I am a wine lover, but when I saw the extensive wine list, I must admit that I was a bit lost. However, Julian's wine expert was able to suggest a bottle of Simi to my fiance and I, and it was exactly what we were looking for. But, that was just the begining When the meal came our eyes nearly popped out of our heads. I ordered a surf and turf, the 12 ounce filet with the lobster tail, and my fiance ordered the Sea bass. We always like to share when we go out, and both of us were delighted with both meals. Not to mention the artistic presentation of the plates when they came out. We ended our meal with a delicious Tiriamisu and coffee, the perfect end to a perfect meal. Needless to say, the great ambiance and wonderful meal made for a very romantic evening, and earned me extra points with my fiance. Now, I take her there at least a couple times a month. It's as good as burn's steak house, but without all the hype, and less crowded. Thanks Julian's!
