After taking the time to meet with the managers twice to carefully plan our reception, we were disappointed with our experience. Though we reserved a private room, our guests had to wait in the bar area for the previous party to leave and for the restaurant staff to prepare the room. Once we were invited in the room well after our reservation time, the waitresses proceeded to charge our guests for soft drinks even though our contract stated that soft drinks were included. We did not appreciate our guests having to pay when we had arranged in the contract that they would not have to pay. The manager eventually said that drinks were included after we told her about our contract. Appetizers were supposed to be served at 4pm, but they were finally started at 5pm after we had to tell the manager that we had order six trays. Shouldn't they have already known this? What was the point of meeting with the managers twice before the reception? They didn't have the ingredients to the ones we ordered, so we told them to serve anything at that point. We were later overcharged for the appetizers when the bill came, and we had to tell the manager to adjust it. Once dinner was finally served, the guests seemed to be happy with the food, though several people said the vegetables were undercooked. I would not suggest this restaurant to anyone who values service. I am usually easily pleased, but this was not a good experience at all. I feel bad for the chef, because he most likely had a stressful evening as a result of the poor communication and planning on the manager's part. Pros: ambience Cons: service, reservations didn't seem to make a difference
