The Bimini Boatyard is a place you can go to get some great Seafood with a Caribbean slant.\r

We were there one night waiting for our cruise to leave port. Got there just in time for the happy hour. Everything is half off and the BAR Bites menu is only $3.00 a dish. A great deal for the amount of food served.\r

We later sat down for dinner and had the Jumbo-lump crab cakes, the Dominican Grouper and the Antillean Mahi. Each was unique and different for any other restaurant serving the same items. The crabcakes were great, just a little touch of the fork and the cake broke down into the large lumps of crab. \r
\r
The grouper was mango and coconut crusted and it sat ontop a Paella rice-which is good enough to be its own entree by itself. The wood-grilled Mahi was something else. The tropical citrus-herb salad is a great compliment for the guava glazed Mahi. \r
\r
The atmosphere is great being right on the riverfront and yachts are a nice back drop for dining on the open air terrace. \r

Overall, this is one of the best restaurants we have gone to in Florida. And, we have been here for a longtime.
