Review content:
I have a 2.5 yr old son who has autism. Part of this disease is that he has a hard time with his orofacial muscles (low tone) and so speaking is difficult for him. I was refered to Ms Munoz and although she is supposed to work with kids on the spectrum I was surprised because she just didn't seem to know how to deal in a calm manner with him in her office. Not only that but it was very difficult for my son to sit still in her office (which is no bigger than a small closet--it is in her personal home) because it is so small.
I would try to find other avenues before paying money to Ms Munoz. I know other kids have had successes with her working on them, but my child just didn't click with her. We paid $65 for a consultation and eval and then she wanted $35 per 30 min session which is cheap compared to other therapies but not worth the time and efforts.
