This little bakery in Arvada was our family's favorite until we asked Rheinlander to redo the cake decorating on my son's birthday cake. The response was that the cake decorator has worked for twenty years and that they were sure that the cake was fine. They then offered to redo the cake even though the man admitted he was not qualified. (The cake decorator was not on duty at the time and I do appreciate his honesty.) The man went on to say how wonderful their reputation was and that I was having a ""monologue with myself."" So much for friendly service. I agree that the customer is not always right, however it would have been gracious if Rheinlander would have invited us to return the cake and have the cake decorator redo the frosting. Bottome lines: The cakes are wonderful. At the same time, repuation alone does not mean that the business is always right!
