Kangaroos Play and Learn Activity Center is a preschool my child willingly agrees to attend, and what a relief! My little one is always singing songs from preschool and she cares a lot for her teachers. There is a colorful open space for circle time and an art studio room as well as a room for puzzles. New toys are cycled in and there are themes, such as ""camp week"", where the children focus learning around the theme. Each day an art activity is planned and a masterpiece is created, often times, also around a theme, such as creating the solar system! The food is good too, so don't worry about packing lunches! The program is centered around having fun at preschool, as well there is a structure to the day with circle time (with a piano for singing) and story time, etc. My child has made friends in the program and the teachers are very caring in their approach to teaching and communicating gently. The owner/operators are very responsive and communicate efficiently and effectively. As well, they are very flexible and willing to work with each individual families' needs. There is a mature atmosphere and the the preschool is run responsibly and professionally. There is plenty of room for humor, play, and caring, too. The students are diverse, representing many kinds of families and the administration is open to working with each child's needs. They even helped my daughter with the last phase of potty training and were very understanding about this. My overall feeling is that this is a little hidden gem.
