Review content:
We purchased our 1st home and it had standard counter tops and I love to cook and always wanted granite. After a year of saving $ my husband and I finally decided to use Island Granite. In the beginning they were great but once the counters were in they didn't fit correctly, there were scratches and they never came when they said they were...(sometimes 4 to 5 hrs late)! When I pointed out the 1 inch seam in my bar they covered it with blank paint and told me that they would come back to finish the rest. My bar was at least 1 inch from wall posts and they covered it with a slab! After 1 week of not showing up to fix the job I called! They proceeded to tell me I was the only one unhappy with the job and I asked for my bar not to reach the wall!
I have asked several times for them just to make the bar right. They refuse in addition they ripped the wall apart in my bathrooms and the seams are unacceptable throughout the kitchen. They did several homes in my neighborhood with the same kitchen and none look like mine! Whomever is doing their templates is uneducated in the area....that is what there install people told me at 9p.m on evening when the were re cutting my bar in the driveway for the 3rd time. Use the company in fairhope these people are unprofessional and sloppy! If you want pictures email me to see the terrible job
