Review content:
Favorite lunch spot Downtown MPL (inside and/or outdoors)...finally a restaurant w/ good food that ranks up there with trendy places in Chicago, LA, and New York! Tomato basil soup with house bread (and salad) makes for a delicious, affordable lunch. Excellent service! Love the walley sandwich and chicken sandwich also. ""Be scene"" when you enjoy drinks and apps after work weekdays AND weekends, especially the wonderful calamari. Great place to dress up for versus the zillion ""beer bars"" a few blocks away. Bar area is swanky with tall ceilings and beautiful drapes. Must admit that it seems a bit pricey for dinner for so-so pastas, although the wonderful decor amongst the three rooms (two dinner areas and one large bar area) makes up for it. Tables near kitchen seem a bit loud for a nice dinner out -- request a table elsewhere. Great place to eat, drink, and be scene!
Pros: Trendy crowd, Attentive waitstaff, Great Decor&Location
Cons: Crowded bar area, Loud tables bykitchen, Pricey Pastas
