Businiess name:  Vaughn's Computer Central

Review content:
As a person who is very, very tech savvy, is big into PC gaming, and is all-around just a huge ""nerd"", this is by far the worst computer repair shop that I've had the displeasure of visiting. One day, I decided to upgrade my video card to a EVGA 560 Ti graphics card. This card is a monster, and after opening one game (BF3), the power supply couldn't keep up and burned out in literally moments. After some research, it was determined by several sources that I would need at least 650W to be ok with the card in my rig. On Vaughn's website, he had a 780W supply listed, so the next day I hopped on the bus in Riverside and got there at 10 AM when they were scheduled to open, however, they weren't open. Waited for 2 hours with another customer, and when Vaughn's finally opened, he didn't even have half the power supplies listed on his site. For new, he had 500W or 1000W, the 1000W being well out of my price range and beyond overkill for what was needed. After telling Vaughn what happened, he proceeded to argue with me about what was wrong, what was needed, and what I should do. He treated me like I had no idea what I was talking about, offered me a used 550W power supply, even after saying MANY times I needed at least 650W, and after much debate, got him to agree that if my vid-card chewed it up and spit it out that he would give me a refund. It took literally 1 minutes and 42 seconds (I timed it with my watch) after opening BF3 for this power supply to burn up, only this one decided to shoot a flash of heat out the back and start to smoke. Luckily, the power supply was the only thing damaged, and Vaughn did uphold the agreement, HOWEVER, was extremely reluctant to do so, and tried several times to get me to exchange for another piece of crap in his shop that wasn't anywhere what I wanted or needed. Vaughn is an incredibly terrible person and the level of customer service you get is nearly non-existent. He is the equivalent of the mechanic who tells you need a new engine when you come in for an oil change. He is the doctor who milks your insurance when you're okay. If you don't know much about computers, he will do anything and everything to exploit and take advantage of that fact, and bleed your wallet dry if he can. He writes 5-star reviews for himself on Google and other sites, he's even posted as himself with a 5-star review for himself. Everything about this shop is wrong, you'd be better off getting overcharged at Best Buy and Geek Squad than dealing with Vaughn's awful shop. I really can't stress enough how much you should avoid this place, and how quick Vaughn WILL take advantage of you. He is scum.
