Review content:
I visited the Pita Cafe in Oak Park for the very first time Friday at lunch. I have heard so much about this restaurant from my fellow co-workers at the hospital, that I finally had to see what all the noise was about. I past daily and I must admit, the outside is so deceiving. Once in the restaurant you realize this isn't just a fast food joint, the decor and ambience is warm and inviting. The parking lot was crazy, but it was so worth it. I can see now what the fuss was all about. The food was fresh and delicious. The entire staff worked hard to please every table, they were very professional and everyone was very friendly. To my surprise, The Pita Cafe isn't a secret to professional and business men/women alike, not to mention all the men and women dressed in hospital scrubs. The place was packed with customers having lunch meetings and friendly lunches. To my surprise there was a line up at the door, but the wait was only 5 minutes, I must say if it had even been longer, it is worth it.
