My husband and I visited Oneida Gospel Church on their Missions Sunday with our Director, Jerry Smith, from About-Face Youth Ministries. They were kind enough to invite us to share our youth ministry with the members and friends in their congregation. Not many churches in this day and age remember the significance, yes - even when times are tough - to reach out to their community and invest their time and finances to support another ministry. They are all about building relationships within the community and with no agenda other than spreading Christ's love and fostering faith. I was so impressed by this lovely country church, not only for their generosity but for their warm and welcoming Pastor, Missions Director and allt he folks who introduced themselves to us. There was something very special about all of them. They are living as the body of Christ - in action - moving, inspiring and LOVING.
