Review content:
I have been to greenwood from time to time. Usually just to buy brine shrimp for my fish. Every time I go, the place gets filthier.
I stopped in today. Besides the whole puppy mill thing (and responsible breeders DO NOT sell their puppies to brokers or pet stores...period), the animals are in terrible living conditions, the place stinks to high heaven, and several of the fish were extremely skinny. I stopped in to peek at kittens. They have signs posted...""Kitten prices-regular-$99, Black-$79, And Calico rare!-$129. I saw a cute little color point (similar to a siamese color pattern) that i was interested in. I asked to see it and they brought it out to me. They then proceeded to tell me that She was $300 because she was an egyptian mau. This breed of cat does not come with points, ever. Not even as kittens. . Nor do they have blue eyes, which this kitten did, along with subtle stripes-thus not a pure bred mau. I brought this to their attention and she tried to tell me they get more spots later. The Mau is born with spots. In other words, they are trying to sell a domestic shorthair (mixed kitten) for $300 as a pure bred (with no papers).
I have been working in the animal care field for 20 years and i think this deceit is horrible. Some poor person is going to pay that money thinking they have a rare spotted cat, when really they just bought a normal dsh.....That's fraud
By the way, I only gave a one star rating because it wouldn't let me put less.
