Review content:
The last time I set foot in the downtown Shapiro's Luggage was about 3 months ago. I was shopping for a new Tumi wallet for my husband. I had in mind what style I wanted to get but the sales clerk that was helping me would NOT show me the entire tray that held all the Tumi wallets. These trays are located behind the glass counters, out of reach of customers. I asked him kindly to bring the tray forward so I could just flip through them on my own time instead of him showing me one at a time. I simply wanted to have the tray in front of me so I could easily compare the different styles. He would not do that. He just kept showing me ONE AT A TIME.
I got really irritated by this and finally left. I vowed that once I walked through the doors that I would NEVER step foot in that place again...and I haven't. They lost a customer and a sale--and keep in mind, it wasn't a small sale, Tumi wallets are quite pricey, but it is what my husband wanted. I took my business elsewhere.
