When you ask store personnel what's going on with all the barren non-restocked shelves at what used to be one great place to shop most all your fine art and hobby needs, you get a consistent blank stare and accompanying shrug!
Any idiot can surmise one of four possibilities at play here:
1) liquidating & closing doors
2) streamlining product lines or types of products sold
3) preparing for relocation
4) selling to another art supply company
What a lousy way to communicate with your faithful customer base. As far as I'm concerned, Pearl's may as well be closed. I won't be returning. Thank God for online shopping!
What a shame.
