READ THIS STORY BEFORE EVER THINKING ABOUT GOING HERE! I am a certified aircraft mechanic and have 15+ years exp. in automotive industry. I went to this ""PENNZOIL QUIK LUBE THRU"" today and here's the reason you never go here. I usually do my own oil changes but I was short on time today and it is cold outside. I pull up and was directed to pull in the service bay. I payed $50.00 for the most basic oil change which only includes oil and oil filter. No washer fluid, power steering, coolant or anything else included. I still decided to go thru weith it. After my oil change which only took 5 minutes which was nice but made me skeptical. I left and pulled over down the street to check the oil and filter. The oil level was alittle overfull but nothing serious and it was clean oil, but when I checked the oil filter it was the same fram ultra guard oil filter that I had put on when I did the oil last. I go right back and when I tell the kid it was never changed he insisted it was and showed me the filter they had put on. I told him repeatedly that the filter in his hand was not the one that was on the car when I checked it 5 minutes earlier. I knew they didn't change it also because when you loosen the oil filter on my car oil gets all over the lower frame rail which was bone dry after I left the first time. If he would have said ooops we forgot honest mistake I would have been OK with that, but because he lied to me after I knew it wasn't changed and tried to cover it up i was furious. I'm sure they do it to every car that goes there and no one usually checks like I do, And to make things worse my oil filter couldn't be any easier to get to, Never Go Here EVER!
