We have a 2001 Volvo S80 and took it to a different transmission shop (Wife made me not put a name) that worked on the transmission three times and rang up a huge bill..... each time they had it for over two weeks. We were ready to just take a beating on a trade in when my wife convinced me to pull into Transmission Clinics. I met John Prine (the owner) and knew we were in good hands. He didn't talk bad about the other guys - he just convinced me he would do the best he could. Boy did he - TWO HOURS LATER - I received a call telling me to come get my car. I thought it was too fast and just knew in my gut it was to tell me they couldn't fix it and I would have more money out of pocket. JUST THE OPPOSITE. He said it was a computer wiring issue and they felt they had resolved it.
Pros: Quick, Curteous, Fair
Cons: No internet presence and doesnt take checks
