Review content:
Here is interesting reading. Where do I begin with this company? Back in 2006 I had purchase a dream home from Homes America, Moncks Corner, SC. Our experience has been nothing of a dream, only a bad dream. This company first hand either can be labled a scam or just stupid, and the folks that gave them a license to do business are just as stupid. Our home was errected on land home package back in 2006 in Lebanon, SC. suprisingly most of our journey was pretty good up until we moved into the home. We purchased a Modular two storie-cape through these folks that did not get installed right. To give you some idea on what we went through and still are going through now five years later, we are being forced to move out of the dream home. From the start, our homes foundation did not fit the home. The foundation design was for another home simular. This result lead to evetually, ""Modular gone Bad!"" After living in this home for one year the marriage wall cladding started to separate, which was caused by this mistake. We had to spend money and hire a lawyer to get correpondance between us and the builder moving and that didn't help much. In result of that, came a home inspection which is when we learned that our home needed to be reworked from top to bottom. This was so dis-heartning that Companies perform work in such manor. So the foundation was only the start. We found out that Berkley County SC, (the county where this house is parked) didn't have to inspect the home as well, there were no permits or plans on file as either. Today the finale damage report totals around $225,000 damage. Keep in mind that we purchased the home then it was built. Ok you must think I'm Stupid now. We trusted our builder, that was my first mistake, our second mistake was that we didn't know then what we know now. Today I am living in this home and are on my way to getting forclosed on by Suntrust Mortgage. I lost, the bank lost, and the builder lost. What a waste of time this was.
