I am unsure as to what was the issue with spiritandtruth and their experience here. My wife and I took our 1990 Nissan Sentra in to have the exhaust checked/repaired and our rear brakes replaced. We already had the parts for the brakes as we were going to do them ourselves, after doing the fronts we realized we didn't have the tools we needed for the rears and since we needed exhaust work done I asked if they would put the parts in, they only charged us labor for an hour which wasn't bad. Once we arrived, Joe and Mark the managers were excellent to work with. They checked us in, listened to what the issues were and, although they were backed up, managed to get our car in. We had already figured this was going to be a long visit so we had planned on eating at the nearby burger king and possibly running up to a few used car dealerships to look for a second car for my wife. When they looked at everything, the result was pin hole leaks in our exhaust system, a punctured EGR tube which they couldn't get a part in right away but joe said isn't hard to repair, and even showed us where the part was so we could order and replace it ourselves. The pin hole leaks I thought were going to end up having to replace the entire exhaust system, which if they wanted too they probably could have sold it to us. Instead Mark said he would get it up on a lift and weld up the holes. We asked them to flush the brake system as well because we were told by brake team (what a joke that is) that the fluid was fouled and needed a full flush. In total we ended up paying less than 300 dollars with their coupon for 30 off service over 300. The tech that worked on our car had no issue with us watching him work as long as we weren't in the way (standing outside the door to the bay itself). When it came to time for the car to be dropped down and ready to go the Tech told us everything he did, which included cutting out a few section of exhaust and welding in new sections (which they didn't charge us for) and he also showed us that for some reason there was oil introduced into our brake system and that although the flush probably got most of it out he warned there might be issues later on. This vehicle was taken to brake team for an inspection and when we were shown the brake fluid it looked like there was motor oil in it, and when we changed and bled the front brakes ourselves the fluid came out black. I have a feeling that brake team poured a little oil in to milk out more cash from us, but as I can't prove it I can only assume. Hands down, as long as they keep the team they have there currently, we will be bringing our cars to them for a while to come.
