Review content:
My partner and I go to Thai Orchid at least once a week. We are greeted by the friendly owner the moment we walk through the door and enjoy starting our meal with an order of chicken satay. The peanut sauce is good, but I prefer the sweet cucumber chutney. For dinner my partner enjoys the gang-panang as spicy as the chef will prepare it. The last time we were there our favorite waiter brought out the shaker of red pepper to make the gang-panang spicier if necessary (which it wasn't). I enjoy trying new dishes each time and have never been disappointed. While the restaurant was closed for about 6 weeks between Christmas and February, we were forced to eat at other Thai restaurants and we always left feeling disappointed. We're so happy Thai Orchid is open again. It is definitely the BEST Thai food (and reasonably priced) in Utah.
Pros: parking, service, food, price, ambience
Cons: small, family owned and they closed for 5 weeks for a family urgency
