I love love love Bennie and Friends. I went there after reading that they were one of the best five salons in Louisville, KY. Before going, I also researched Bennie Pollard (the owner) and he and the salon have won countless awards and have been featured in magazines like Glamour, etc. Whenever I go, my stylist is always Ashli Thompson. She's fairly young, but many of the stylists are. Don't let that fool you though, they have a tremendous amount of talent. I always get a cut and a color (with style included) and it costs me about 115 bucks. Of course, that seems pricey but my mother was used to getting her hair cut and colored at WAL-MART of all places for 150 bucks!! That is, until I brought her to Bennie and Friends. Like I said, she and I both love it. They take so much care of you. They are always happy to get me anything I need (beverage, reading material, etc) and always listen very carefully to what I want. My mom has struggled to be satisfied with any hair process she has ever had done, I took her to Bennie and Friends today and she was SO happy with the results. So anyways, just try Bennie and Friends - you'll leave a very happy customer!
Pros: They pamper you, listen very carefully, and don't drive you into bankruptcy
Cons: Sometimes hard to get an appointment
