Review content:
I'm more of a regular customer than I'd prefer to be at a body shop, but stuff happens I suppose. I've used these guys the last 3-4 times I've needed body work and always been happy with the results and been very happy with the service.
Although I'd had my Ford F150 and Chevy Silverado repaired there to my satisfaction before, I have to admit I was a little uneasy about taking my BMW Z4 in for repairs. I reasoned that a body shop in Bastrop probably was more adept at dealing with pickup trucks than German roadsters, especially once such as a Z4 with a lot of contours and styling on the body panels. My nervousness was unfounded, however, and they did a great job repairing a significant dent on the door and rear panel. I wouldn't hesitate to go back even with a high end car.
They had a relationship with my insurance company (State Farm) that made it super easy to deal with the insurance claims to the point that I didn't have to deal with the insurance company at all other than signing a paper when I authorized the repairs. They handled all the dealings with the adjuster and paperwork.
As for customer service. They were polite, but also somewhat expeditious. I can see where this might be a little off-putting for the typical Bastropian who is used to the small town chatter you usually get from clerks/service guys around here, but I can also appreciate that they seem to get things done (like your car) much more efficiently by NOT sitting around and shooting the bull all day with people. In the end, I'd rather have my car back quickly than banter with a detail shop guy anyway.
Pros: Detail oriented
