Review content:
I could not believe it! I seriously COULD NOT BELIEVE it! McDonald's, family friendly, bring your children here, we love them, HAPPY MEALS, stay and play... McDonald's, REFUSED MY SON'S ORDER BECAUSE HE WAS A PENNY SHORT!!!! He just wanted to grab a few items off of the dollar menu, so when he came running back to the bank next door where I was handling business empty handed, I was confused? When he told me what happened I was certain, he had the facts wrong so I quickly gave him more money and decided to followup with the manager when I was finished. I explained that we were loyal customers and that I had frequented this location many times and that I believed this situation could have been handled better if for nothing else to preserve the relationship with me, the repeat customer. Her response was the most disappointing part of all. Stone-faced she looked at me and said, ""If everyone needed a penny we'd have a problem, it's our policy."" Still shocked by this whole scenario unfolding in front of me and frankly at a loss for words, we looked at each other in silence for a second or so when finally and quite bewildered, I concluded with, ""So let me get this straight, you are willing to destroy a relationship with a valuable, repeat customer... a mother of 10 children under the age of 16, and a person who sends hundreds of AAU players and families to your store OVER A PENNY???"" Her reply, a flat, ""Yes, that's our policy.""
