My then girlfriend (who is now my wife) and I stumbled upon Gauchos Village just driving by and had lunch there, and the food was the best of the churrascarias in LA that we've had (and we've been to Fogo de Chao). Based upon that lunch, my wife (who is from southern Brazil where this kind of food originates) decided to have GV cater our wedding, and it turned out absolutely incredible. We eat there frequently now. We think it's probably the best quality food and about half the price of Fogo de Chao.
