Beacon Mortgage single-handedly caused me to miss my closing deadline on my new house. They had ample time to do the loan and still managed to draw everything out to the last minute, which pushed closing back 3 days and caused me a financial mess. I would not recommend doing any business with these people, as they don't perform even when you hold their hand. I called every week to check up on my loan and was told, ""No news is good news."" This of course was until the day before settlement when I received a phone call telling me that it wasn't going to happen as scheduled. Pros: Competitive pricing Cons: Bad customer service, lip service... no delivery, no sense of urgency.
