I've been taking electronic components to Guarantee Electronics for several years now and have always been completely satisfied by the work they do and the prices they charge. The techs there are very friendly and will explain in great detail what they are doing with your component if you are interested in knowing. They work relatively fast and are interested in saving you money. If you pick up some formerly expensive piece of equipment at a garage sale or the swap meet that isn't working, usually these guys can put things back in order at a price you can live with. And if you have something around the house that finally goes South on you, don't throw it away until you let them check it out. If it's something simple they will tell you. They will also advise if it is not worth fixing. I can't say enough good things. Check them out for yourself and I think you will share my positive experience.
