Review content:
I spent a lot of time looking for the best vegetarian restaurant in Philadelphia to surprise my girlfriend for her birthday. Blue Sage definitely did not disappoint. The food was not only the best vegetarian food that either of us had ever had, but quite possibly the best food we'd ever had...period. This is not for lack of trying other restaurants. I live 45 minutes away and definitely plan on going back. The goat cheese nachos are incredible (this is coming from somebody who normally does not like goat cheese). The salads really are all they're cracked up to be, and I didn't see a single entree brought out to other tables that didn't make me think to myself ""why didn't I order that!?"" The one thing that wasn't outstanding was the chocolate cake...probably because I didn't realize it was vegan. You can judge their prices for yourself on their website. I think they are very fair and reasonable, especially for the quantity and quality of food that you receive.
Pros: Best vegetarian food in the Philly metro region, period.
Cons: It's a bit far out in the suburbs and not that easy to get to. Need a car to get there.
