Review content:
back in dec i switched from verizon phone and internet to the suddenlink bundle package to save money and eliminate a bill. suddenlink contacted verizon to cancel all services and i did as soon as the suddenlink rep left my house from hooking everything up. i was told i would recieve the final bill and it would be taken care of and that suddenlink did indeed call to cancel the phone and internet. low and behold almost 3 mths later i have dealt w/ messed up bills, too much money drafted out of my bank acct ( which was their error and took a mth to get my money back and it wasn't the correct amt) and several hours making phone calls and being put on hold for very long periods of time and this still isn't taken care of. everytime i call verizon to tell them that i'm still getting these crazy bills for dates after the service was cancelled i get told that they are sorry but for some reason the service was never cancelled. then i get the reps name and they give me a confirmation number and the assure me that it is taken care of there is a zero bal and the service is now cancelled. well about 5 phone calls later and several bills this is still an issue. so now i am asking what do i have to do to get this taken care of since calling and talking to 10 different people isn't taking care of it. i also keep notes every time i call i write the date, reps names, time spent on the phone and everything that they say including the confirmation number showing that it's taken care of. so what now? if they had a local office i would take all of the bills and notes and show them to someone. i'm very upset and frustrated w/ verizon. i will never go back to verizon even if they were the only phone carrier i would go to my cell or do w/ out. will this ever be taken care of and how do i get it taken care?
Cons: the worst experience i've ever had w/ a billing dept.
